It's 12:23 as I start to write this. I'm just wrapping up work (anyone else out there end up hoping back online and putting in more hours after the kiddos have gone to bed?), and frankly, I'm so tired I can barely see.
But ... I wanted to chime in right here and say, damn, it has been a GOOD DAY!
Husband started a new job (super proud of him), 8-year-old started 3rd grade with a fantastic teacher, 5-year-old started kindergarten ditto on the great teacher, and I've got my own good stuff brewing at work. On the housing front: NVR gave us the super official all-clear today. And our PMs say we're in beyond good shape. All set for final walk-through a week from tomorrow and closing at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14 (that's next Friday!).
Life has been an insane journey these last few years. Both high and low. Tonight I'm counting my blessings. I can't believe I've had the chance to build such a beautiful home with such an awesome partner-in-crime. And that we're going to have such great space to enjoy raising these two boys in.
I'm truly a lucky (and incredibly grateful) girl.
Yes, WJ! You are truly lucky and blessed to build a Waverly home for you and your family. It was a pleasure following your journey and I look forward to watching your home blossom after your family moves in.
