And we wait

I think Charissa said it best in her comment to my last blog post:
"I hope it doesn't sit long. I think this is the hardest part to wait out."
Unfortunately nothing much has happened this week. At least to this untrained eye. They put some rocks in our basement and garage. Everything else is just like it was over the weekend.

So, I'm trying to be patient. Hoping for an update from the PM tomorrow. And hoping that pretty soon I come around the corner and see some framing.

Until then I'm living vicariously through you all, so keep those pics coming.

  1. Chin up! Soon enough everything will be going too fast. :) And you will have a gorgeous house soon enough!

  2. Whoever said patience is a virtue never had to hand over a huge chunk of change and then sit around waiting for a new house to be built.

  3. We drove out to our lot for a week straight before we asked our PM what the hold up was. I wish we would have asked sooner because the framers were working on a different house and weren't scheduled for ours until they were done! I feel like waiting for the framing has been harder than waiting to break ground!!

    1. Glad you checked into it! I was warned by our SR that they have a schedule to adhere too. I tried everything to convince her that we deserved to be bumped up because we have been waiting for so long!!

  5. Waiting is the worst part, but once they start it will go, go, go (or should, at least). It really is hard to be patient.
